Autajon’s sustainable labels recognised with a Brassinov trophy

Autajon Étiquettes Loire has won the “Innovation” trophy at the Brassinov competition thanks to a unique eco‑design breakthrough. This award highlights a durable, one‑of‑a‑kind innovation in the eco‑friendly beer label sector, combining design, performance and environmental responsibility.

Innovation designed for committed brewers

Autajon Étiquettes Loire develops its sustainable labels with a clear ambition: to offer a responsible solution that supports breweries in their ecological transition. The stakes are high, as producers are looking for alternatives that reduce waste while maintaining premium quality.
The teams are committed to a comprehensive eco‑design approach. Autajon first starts from a material made from barley waste, creating a virtuous, direct link with the brewing industry. High‑end embellishments and finishes are then integrated into the design with as little added material as possible, ensuring a high‑quality result.
This circular approach reflects the Autajon Group’s determination to offer sustainable solutions without compromising on aesthetics or performance.

A zero‑waste design that optimises every resource

To go even further, the teams have adapted the label format to 75 cl bottles. Thanks to this smart choice, the raw material is used in full. This solution eliminates paper offcuts, immediately reducing the environmental impact in a circular, eco‑production approach.
The composition has been carefully designed to combine durability and elegance. Autajon’s sustainable labels combine 40% post‑consumer recycled fibres with 45% virgin pulp. This blend creates a natural texture while ensuring optimal performance.
Dry embossing adds relief. This technique, completely free of ink or varnish, delivers a premium finish without increasing the environmental footprint.

Random printing for a unique bottle

Autajon Étiquettes Loire set out to create a different visual experience. The teams devised a random printing process that generates a unique pattern for each bottle. While the black tone remains identical, the graphic variations are continuous.
This creative choice tells a story. Each label reflects the artisanal character of the brewers while reinforcing their creative identity. This innovation immediately won over the jury at the Salon du Brasseur, who recognised both its technical boldness and sustainable approach.
Thanks to this award, the Loire sustainable labels confirm Autajon Étiquettes Loire’s position as a key player in responsible solutions for the brewing industry.
