Environmental policy

The evolution of our business activity has made Autajon Group one of the leaders in the fabrication of folding cartons.

Fully cognicent that this business evolution must be accompanied by the respect for the environment, Autajon has a fully operational environmental management system.

Our most important objectives are :

• To Continually control and reduce the quantity of waste products,
• Production improvements contributing to cost effectiveness,
• To encorporate contunued improvements and pollution prevention,
• To respect all applicable regulations relating to our activity,
• To protect the environmental above and beyond existing regulations,
• To be able to predict and avoid accidents involving environmental impacts (raw materials, atmospheric discharge and harmful liquids),
• To reduce our consumption of water and energy (electricity, compressed air etc),
• To increase the use of « clean energies »,
• To develop a dialogue with interested parties (clients, insurance companies etc) to ensure the confidence that they place in Autajon.

We will focus in particular on printing activities (consumption of inks and varnish), waste management, and the decline in use of solvents.
